CCHS ATHLETICS HALL OF FAME TO INDUCT NEW MEMBERS
Eight Athletes, Two Coaches to be Honored

The Concord-Carlisle High School Athletics Hall of Fame is pleased to announce that eight former athletes and two long-time coaches have been selected as the Hall’s newest class of inductees.  The honorees will be enshrined at a banquet and awards ceremony on Saturday May 4, 2013, at 5:30 P.M. at the Elks Club in Maynard.

The inductees are: Hugh Kilmartin ’64 (Basketball), Billy Moszka ’80 (Football, Baseball), Paul Paglia ’82 (Football, Lacrosse), Sheila Watts ’83 (Soccer, Basketball, Lacrosse), Nick Boynton ’87 (Football, Basketball, Lacrosse), Daryl Dimare ’97 (Football, Basketball, Lacrosse), Megan Moran-Gates ’99 (Soccer, Basketball, Track and Field), Jeff Critchlow ’99 (Soccer, Lacrosse) and long-time teacher/coaches Al Robichaud (Football) and Jack Murray (Soccer).   

The newest group of honorees will join 84 former CCHS athletes, coaches and contributors plus the undefeated 1953 Piedmont Bowl Champion Football team and undefeated, 5-time state champion girl’s tennis teams of 1984-88 in the Hall of Fame.

Founded in 1993, the Concord-Carlisle Athletics Hall of Fame was created to honor the best athletes, coaches, teams and other sports luminaries that have helped deepen the rich, maroon history of Concord High and Concord-Carlisle High School sports. All Hall of Famers are recognized on the “Wall of Fame” outside the James A. Hayes Memorial Gymnasium at CCHS.

Host an UP WITH PEOPLE cast member during their stay in Concord!

 

September 10th to September 17th, 2010

 

What has legs, 200 pieces of luggage, sings, dances, volunteers countless hours of community service and is coming to Concord?  A cast of Up with People!  The international cast of Up with People will be in Concord from September 10th through September 17th.  Host families are needed to house these dynamic young people from 20 countries during their visit.  Host families provide a place to sleep, limited local transportation and some meals (usually breakfast and dinner). As a thank you, all host families will receive 2 complimentary tickets to the Up with People Show happening on Thursday, September 13 at 7:30
pm at Lincoln Sudbury Regional High School. There are also three shows at Concord Carlisle Regional High School on September 14 at 7:30 pm and September 16 at 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm.
